Lexile Levels
1. Students are tested 4 times a year on the program Scholastic Reading Inventory.
2. From this test, students are given a Lexile range. This range identifies the levels that students can read between.
3. All books that have a Lexile level are labeled with the level and color code.
4. Students are allowed to check out 3 books that are on their Lexile range: One fiction, one nonfiction, and the 3rd one is their choice.
